When in England, Do as the Romans Do

Welcome to my day in Bath! Contrary to popular belief, I did not actually bathe in these appetizingly green waters but I did get a chance to drink them (it tasted like dirty pennies, because I know you're wondering). Story goes that the Romans found the only hot spring in all of England, took it over and then converted it into a public bath house in order to utilize it’s "healing waters". Not sure how healing these waters were considering the fate of the Romans. But anyways, they found ways to heat, cool and trap the spring into multiple pools for multiple uses. We weren't allowed to swim but that didn't stop me from almost falling in multiple times.

P.S. The water bubbling up from this hot spring could fill up your bathtub in less than 8 seconds.
