This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit the Tower of London, to which Arcadia was nice enough to provide tickets. It was much, much larger than I expected and though I had only planned on spending an hour or two walking around and taking pictures, it ended up being more like four.

These four hours didn’t even include stopping to read everything! I can only imagine how long I would have been there if I had truly engaged with all of the exhibits. That being said, it’s definitely worth the trip as it is quite an iconic sight and symbol of London. The first few pictures are of the famous Tower Bridge.

I spent quite a while ambling around and trying to find good angles and attempting some long exposure techniques. It was the perfect weather to get some great photos! The next few are of the infamous Tower ravens. They were very approachable and in fact two landed right on a staircase and were instantly surrounded by tourists, myself included!

Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Tower, even if it’s just to say that you’ve been and you’ve seen the crown jewels. To read more about my experience and see more photos visit www.voyagingherbivore.com
