Semester Two?! I nearly forgot about you.

Time is ticking by faster than I could have ever imagined here in London. Although I’ve been here for nearly 6 months now I can’t help but feel like I’ve only just gotten off the plane at Heathrow with more bags than I should have ever brought. Now as I sit here, the night before classes start for my last semester abroad I can’t help but relish the amount of adventure I’ve already had and what more might be to come.

London has this magical quality of feeling like home, no matter the time you’ve spent here. It only took me a month for this bustling city to become my little comfort blanket, despite its distance from America. As I watch the new faces flood into the halls I can’t help but feel excited for what adventures they have no idea sit upon their horizon. Living in this city is a surprise everyday. Never have I grown bored of the persistent ambulance sirens, car horns, tourist traffic, and locals telling me to “piss off” when I’m walking too slowly on my way to class.

So here’s to my last semester in London! Cheers to all the memories I’ve made and all the ones to come. This city is more magical than I’d ever perceived. I can only imagine what tomorrow has waiting for me (besides Writing Poetry at 3:00 with John O'Donoghue).
