Thirty days… that’s it. There is only a month left of my time abroad. I don’t want to leave this place; this has been the best experience of my life. In this past week of being back Suruchi, Alicia, Erin, and I went back to Dishoom, planned a trip to Dublin, and Paris. I am excited to keep exploring the country with these ladies and I am excited to share a holiday with them. Thanksgiving is on Thursday and we are going to go to one of Alicia’s high school friends flat and cook them a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I never knew how hard it would be to find a turkey in London at this time of the year. Grocery stores are advertising “Christmas Turkeys: Available December 15”; excuse me but I would like a turkey for Thanksgiving!
During this time we are suppose to say what we are thankful for and that is easy for me right now: I am thankful for Erin, Alicia, and Suruchi (#Bible). They are such great friends and I am dreading the day where we are standing in Heathrow with our packed suitcases and passports headed back to Texas, Pennsylvania, Ecuador and Washington. Can someone re-format the states and bring them closer to me?
