Hello! It has been a while since my last blog post and a lot has happened. For starters, I am now attending my classes on a regular basis and have officially been on my first trip out of the UK for the semester! Classes here in the UK are quite different than what I am used to in the States but I think I am adapting just fine. In regards to my pre-departure fears about being abroad, I am proud and happy to say that 1) My classes are running smoothly and I didn’t have a hard time finding my classes, 2) I have been so preoccupied having fun in London that I haven’t had the chance to become homesick, I even have considered London my home at this point, and 3) I have met so many new, incredible people and made so many new friends! Three weeks into my program, and I can already say that studying abroad will be one of my most cherished moments of college.

Since I only have class twice a week, I have a ton of time to explore London and travel to lots of places – which is what I did with some friends this past weekend! Some girlfriends and I took a weekend getaway to Paris and it was the best (and coldest) time ever! Four days is plenty of time to have a leisure stay but also hit all the historic and touristy sites in the city, which is what we did.  My favorite day was probably the day when we all went to Disneyland Paris. Since I grew up going to the original Disneyland park in California, it was exciting to visit a familiar yet foreign place for the day.  What made the whole trip even more magical was the fact that it was snowing! The city looked beautiful under a light blanket of snow!  For a more intimate look into our trip, I have uploaded a video documenting the whole trip on my YouTube channel that I share with my friend! I will be going to Prague in a couple weeks with the same friends and cannot wait to document that trip as well!

I still feel so blessed to be in such an amazing place like London for the next couple months. I have grown to love this city more and more every day and can’t wait to share more of my journey! Cheers!
