Arrivederci Roma

I have been spending most of my days in the wonderful city of Rome, but on the weekends, I pack my bags and travel to the most amazing cities. It is always crazy to experience how different each place is even when they are only hours away.

First stop, the unforgettable journey to Venice. Let me just say that it really lives up to its high standards of beauty. Every corner you turn is a new wonderful view of the canal and you will never get tired of it. But since there are one million corners to turn, it is similar to traveling through a maze, which is not fun when you need to find the apartment you are staying in. So, if you ever go to Venice, make your phone is charged with Google Maps ready to go. Also, EAT THE SEAFOOD. They have an awesome pasta to go restaurant with a mixed seafood pasta, and it comes in a Chinese takeout box…which is misleading when you see everyone with those boxes.

But, most importantly, make sure your photography skills are above average because you do not, I repeat, you do not want to miss that bird flying over that gondola, with the gondolier in the black-and-white stripped shirt paddling away in the sunset with two lovebirds in the heart-shaped seat. That is all.

Next stop, Milan. I was excited to go to Milan for fashion week in hopes to see famous models and celebrities like Kendall Jenner, but sadly, there was no celebrity in sight. Instead, I ate enormous amounts of pizza, and shopped til I dropped. I only ended up buying rain boots because it was pouring the entire time (angry face). Other than that, I have to say that the Duomo is an amazing, mysterious looking building. It made me feel like I was in Hogwarts.

Ciao.
