Hi! My name is Janey and I'm a junior at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. I am so excited to spend a semester abroad at the National University of Ireland in Galway. At home I study geography/sociology and dance, and in Ireland I'm looking forward to exploring literature, history, and film! I run cross country as well, and I'm hoping to join a running club while abroad. I hope to blog and vlog about my experiences navigating a foreign country for the first time, the cultural exchanges I have with Irish locals and students, as well as how I navigate having allergies abroad! You might find me telling stories of dancing in an Irish pub, or taking a photography trip to the countryside, or visiting mainland Europe for weekend trips. I speak Italian and can fumble through a conversation in French, so I might take you along on a trip to trovare some pasta in Italia or visiter la tour d'effiel a France!
