University of Edinburgh, Scotland
My name is Virginia Black and I am a rising junior studying English at Duke University. I love yoga, lavender candles and my yellow lab, Duffy. I could not be more excited to begin my adventures in Edinburgh for the Fall 2017 semester! While I love to plan out absolutely everything out in my iCal and my hot pink and gold agenda, I am committed to adventure and keeping an open mind. I am definitely looking forward to meeting some furry Highland cows, visiting the cafe where JK Rowling started my absolute favorite books series, and exploring Scottish castles! This blog will fall somewhere in between stories detailing my experiences wandering around Europe for the first time and an informative catalogue of travel recommendations for students who may find themselves in the same position someday. Cheers!
