University of Melbourne, Australia
Womin djeka! Welcome! Bienvenido! Huan ying! My name is Laura Yang, and I am a Junior at Arcadia University. I am a Psychology major, and I am extremely excited to continue my studies at the University of Melbourne, Australia! As scary as it may seem to travel halfway across the world on my own (not that this is my first time leaving the country), I am ecstatic about this opportunity to travel, explore new cities, try new foods, and learn about the history and culture of a country that is seemingly similar yet very different from America! I have previously visited China and South Korea, and now I will be able to add Australia to that list. I’m an adrenaline junkie, thrill seeker, and risk taker because life is more challenging and enjoyable that way. I sometimes also like to stay in bed and binge-watch shows - hopefully not while abroad! I hope you will follow me on my adventures in Melbourne, Australia and that my blogs will give you an opportunity to live vicariously through me!

Wow, where do I even begin?! Okay, probably from the beginning is good. This weekend, a majority of the students studying abroad through Arcadia in Melbourne geared up and headed to the Grampians National Park for a free weekend excursion hosted by Arcadia… More
So it has been a while since I last posted something, but that doesn’t mean that my adventure is over. Rather, a new adventure has begun – the start of a new semester at a university in a different country. For those of you in the U.S., it’s currently… More
