Exhibition featuring the first computers installed in St Andrews some 50 years ago.
Objects Unpacked Series: Recording Scotland: 7 October, MUSA Collections Centre, 1pm
Exhibitions curator Claire Robinson talks about the Recording Scotland scheme and shows some artworks which are not in the exhibition. Booking is essential.

Scottish Music Day: 7 October, Byre Theatre, 1:10pm
A celebration of Scottish music, featuring Joshua Dickson and students from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
John Mark Ainsley: 23 October, Younger Hall, 7:30pm
The great English tenor performs a Shakespeare-inspired programme with the young South African pianist, James Baillieu. Supported by the Cookie Matheson Charitable Trust.
Scottish Opera: Cosi fan tutte: 24 October, Byre Theatre, 7:30pm
When Ferrando and Guglielmo decide to test their lovers' fidelity, they do so by disguising themselves as Albanians (the way you do) and stopping at nothing to seduce each other's sweetheart. Surprise, it works; surprise two, this is a comedy. Mozart's most cynical opera is directed by Lissa Lorenzo and designed by Robbie Sinnott, who sets the action in 1950s Italy.
Bach Cantata Service: 25 October, St Salvatore's Chapel, 11am
The University of St Andrews' flagship choir of St Salvator's Chapel along with some of the University's instrumentalists, perform Bach's cantata 'Christ Lag in Todesbanden' BWV 4 in this festival service led by the Rev Dr Donald MacEwan.
Patricia Hodge and Jonathan Cohen: 25 October, Byre Theatre, 3pm
Actress Patricia Hodge and broadcaster/pianist Jonathan Cohen present an afternoon of cabaret. Featuring music by Noel Coward, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, David Heneker and Percy Grainger.
Scottish Chamber Orchestra: 28 October, Younger Hall, 7:30pm
Kicking off with the world premiere of a new work from the fascinating Finnish composer Lotta Wennäkoski, there's also Nielsen's Violin Concerto and conductor Tuomas Hannikainen's arrangement of music from Sibelius's only opera, The Maiden in the Tower. Pekka Kuusisto (violin) is the guest soloist.

St Andrews Voices: 22-25 October, Various venues and times
It's all about the voice, in this eclectic festival of music drawn from opera, Lieder, folk, jazz, early music and contemporary genres.
St Andrews Farmers Market: 3 October, North Car Park, 9am
Organised by the Fife Farmers' Market Cooperative, St Andrews is a busy market with up to 30 stallholders attending on the first Saturday of each month. A pop-up restaurant can be found at certain times of the year but all year round regular stallholders include Bellfield Organics fruit and vegetables; Balhelvie Farm’s Aberdeen Angus beef; Arran's Cheese Shop; Seriously Good Venison; The Ochil Fudge Pantry; The Pittenweem Chocolate Company and Hudson Home Baking – as well as many other meat, fish, preserves, crafts and drinks (tea, wine, beer and spirits) producers.
