It'll be alright on the Night: 1-3 May, Preservation Trust Museum, 7.30pm

A comedy set backstage and onstage in the 1960s Byre Theatre – missing costumes, lost actors, a fretting director and a stage manager trying to hold it all together ready for a performance of The Open.

If the Objects Could Talk: 7 May, MUSA, 1pm

Look behind-the-scenes with Curator Matt Sheard and discover the interesting and shocking tales behind some of the objects in the University’s collection.

Historic Scientific Instruments: 10 May, MUSA, 2pm

Join the curators of Making Wavesto handle and learn about some of the objects from the University’s Recognized Collection of Historic Scientific Instruments, which played an integral part in the development of our understanding of acoustics.

Global Gilbert and Sullivan Day: 3 May, The Scores Hotel, 12.30pm

On 3rd May, Savoyards throughout the world will be singing, reciting and performing pieces of Gilbert and Sullivan’s fantastical operettas – celebrating the lives of the topsy-turvy Victorian duo with “Grand Dinners”, special performances and frivolous parties that will rival even the most spectacular of festivities seen on the boards of the Savoy Theatre. In St Andrews:

Eclectic mix of choreography guaranteed to showcase the finest dance talent that the university has to offer in a myriad of styles from ballet to break-dance, tap to theater; University of St Andrews Dance Society.

Students accumulate lots of things over the year and there’s no way we can take it all home, come and grab a bargain at our End of Semester Sale.

RAF Freedom of St Andrews Parade: 10 May, Throughout St Andrews, Time TBA

Final parade before RAF Leuchars closes, include Homecoming Parade for 58 Squadron RAF Regiment returning from Afghanistan, also Band of the RAF College, Cranwell and RAF Leuchars Pipes & Drums; through town center, past Holy Trinity Church, South Street.
