Extremes: Life, Death and the Limits of the Human Body: 15 February, Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee, 6pm

In this lecture, Dr Fong discusses his first book, Extremes. He examines how we have pushed human survival over the past century, in space, under the ocean and in intensive care wards and surgical theaters; and how human beings are compelled to explore both physical and physiological limits.
