It's been a great term and we hope to catch as many of you as possible at our Farewell events over the next few weeks! As your finals begin to wrap up and as you start to think about returning home (gasp!), we have a few words of wisdom to share, which will hopefully make the journey home a bit easier.

University/packing details:

  • Please follow all university instructions for moving out - you must ensure that your rooms are tidy, furniture is returned to its original position, and all rubbish removed
  • Remember to check your university email accounts to ensure that you have all necessary instructions for moving out and departure.
  • Make sure to return all library books
  • Settle any outstanding university fees related to library books or accommodation damage. Arcadia will not be able to process your transcripts until all outstanding fines are paid.
  • Locate your passport and all necessary travel documents
  • Start packing early—check how much luggage you have and check on any baggage limits that your airline might impose. Unlike the US, certain airlines may charge for carry-on items weighing over 10 kilos (e.g. Virgin Atlantic)
  • Ensure all electronic devices you store in your carry-on luggage are fully charged. Airport security has the right to confiscate any items that you are unable to switch on at the security gates.
