The Dublin Center has just hosted orientation for students who will be attending University of Limerick (UL). The students arrived to a freezing cold Dublin on Sunday morning and were taken into the hotel where they would be staying while in the city. After putting on another few layers of clothing, they attended the Resident Directors Welcome reception in the Arcadia offices where they met the staff and warmed up with tea and pizza.

Following this they walked to Trinity College to begin a historical walking tour of Dublin. Monday morning began with a student staff traditional full Irish breakfast. Orientation meetings took place throughout the day along with lunch in Arcadia's favourite restaurant, Ciao Bella Roma, and a trip to a GAA pitch to learn how to play Ireland's national games. The day was finished off with an evening of fairies, folklore and story telling and a lovely 3 course traditional Irish meal. The students were introduced to Arcadia's Limerick support officer, Marie Kirwan, at the meal and she accompanied them on the bus to Limerick the next day.

The Limerick students have an array of Arcadia hosted events throughout the semester and we look forward to seeing them at those.
