This weekend I had the pleasure of joining students from University College Cork, and a Dublin Parliamentary Intern on the Cork Food Trail. Cork is a region famous for its fantastic food, so a culinary tour of the City is a great way to take it all in.

There were several stops including coffee shops, butchers, fish mongers and a few restaurants all giving us delicious tasters! A few new places had been added since the Fall trail including a newly opened Aussie-style sushi roll place and a chocolatier in the English Market.

The Cork Quarter Block party was also on, so we stopped off at the box office to find out what free events were taking place. There was plenty of extra great pubs, restaurants and coffee shops pointed out, as well as top tips for what to with free time in Cork.

A great start off to the Spring Co-Curricular events!
