It’s orientation time again! We have spent the past three weeks welcoming new students to Ireland. University College Cork early start program, University of Limerick, Trinity College Dublin Semester Start up program and NUI Galway students are all settling into life in their new campuses. The remaining University College Cork students, along with Burren College of Art students and Dublin Parliamentary Interns arrived today. We look forward to welcoming University College Dublin, Maynooth University, Queens University Belfast and the remaining Trinity College Dublin students in the coming weeks.

All students participate in a three-day orientation in Dublin; this is part of the program and includes airport pick up, accommodation and a personalised orientation pack. During orientation, Arcadia staff present to students on everything they need to know for a successful study abroad experience. Typical presentations include; Practical Matters, Engaging with the Culture, Staying Safe in Ireland and a few more! There are also smaller group meetings for Academics, a Culture Quiz to test your knowledge and a welcome lunch.

Students also have lots of free time to explore Dublin, as well a cultural activity. This semester our University College Cork Early Start and NUI Galway students enjoyed Riverdance in the Gaiety Theatre, while the Trinity College Semester Start-up and University of Limerick students got to ‘Experience Gaelic Games’

Welcome to all our new students! We hope you have a fantastic semester!
