Arcadia Ireland

Christmas season is finally here! The lights are on, the decorations are up and Christmas music is blaring in the stores.  At Arcadia we jumped into the holiday season with a Christmas movie night in the Dublin Center. We transformed the Room of Knowledge, a space usually used for study to a cozy screening venue, with couches, Christmas decorations and lots of treats! This was an opportunity for our Dublin based students to try out Irish Christmas desserts such as mince pies, Christmas cake, plum pudding and sherry trifle.

Students were able to vote on the Arcadia Dublin facebook group for what movie to watch, and Elf with Will Ferrell was the unanimous winner. Elf is a Christmas classic and always a favorite! After the movie the students helped me to decorate our Christmas tree and finish off the rest of the hot chocolate and desserts.

What a great way to start off the festive fun!
