Hi, my name is Lauren! I am a junior majoring in English and Linguistics and minoring in Spanish and Ethnic Studies at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. This fall, I am studying English Literature at the University of Oxford, Hertford College. As someone who decided to stay in their hometown for college, had only been to Canada for a day, and had last flown on a plane eight years ago, studying abroad at Oxford is quite a big leap—especially during a pandemic. Join me as I experience very new things in a new country and please enjoy all of the nerdy linguistic comments that I am sure I will weave in!
