The Casals are great gathering spaces for meetings and interactions; it is where democratic values, solidarity, associationism and collaboration are promoted.

One of its main challenges is to respond in a participatory and inclusive manner, to all the needs and demands of neighborhood residents. Networking is promoted with other entities and groups, also spaces and activities are offered where exchange, creation, volunteering and participation among the neighborhood are encouraged.

Citizen participation, volunteerism and mutual collaboration are the cornerstones of the Casals. The volunteers are in charge of the designing and developing of the activities that are scheduled. The Casals are like a second house; a space to meet, learn, share and grow.
