On Monday we had a great time with our spring 2020 students learning some new dance moves at the Sevillanas Workshop.

Sevillanas are a type of folk music and dance of Sevilla and its region.  It’s danced by couples of all ages and sexes during celebrations (fiestas or ferias), often by whole families and towns. This choreography is very stable and knowing, it is very useful since it is a festival dance. That’s why those intending to dance flamenco usually start by learning Sevillanas; they are easier to master and there are more occasions for practice and training.

Our students were very happy for being part of this private class and learn how to dance this rhythm with a great teacher who made all of us go through the choreography! A super fun experience, especially at the beginning!!!

They enjoyed the class very much! It's always so much fun to dance the cheerful Sevillanas sounds and our students always prove to be great dancers =)
