03/15/16: Have you noticed the growing number of chocolate figures and cakes in store windows these days? They’re the Mona de Pasqua!

The traditional Easter Mona de Pasqua is a delicious chocolate cake adorned with chocolate eggs and toy animals, together with decorative feathers and chicks. It is eaten as a dessert on Easter Monday (this year: April 6th) to celebrate that the period of Lent is over. Usually godparents give it to their godchildren as a gift.
These days you will be able to see the most amazing chocolate creations in all the bakeries in the city. On Thursday 17th March at 10:30am we’ll enjoy a taste of Mones de Pasqua. Don’t miss it!

UPDATE: Today we tasted some Mones de Pasqua and ate some chocolate eggs! I hope you liked it… because you didn’t leave any crumbs! Now is your time to walk around different pastry and bakery stores to taste others and get fascinated with the amazing figures they make with chocolate.

Happy Easter!
