If you have not read our post about the free orientation event tomorrow, at Kensington Palace, then you can do so here. But that will only take up a portion of your weekend. What else could you do this weekend to make the most of your time in London?

ALTERNATIVE LONDON TOURS

Check out these tours. Not only will they give you a great insight into the East End of London, but some of them are completely free! By this point you have probably seen most of London’s landmarks. It is time to get stuck into that part of London that might not be as glamorous as some of the things you have seen so far, but that is full of cultural experiences.

ASTRONOMY PHOTOGRAPHY

Head along to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich to take a look at this exhibition. The current display is from the 2013 astronomy photographer of the year and it is, quite simply, stunning. There are four categories for you to browse: ‘Earth and Space’, ‘Our Solar System’, ‘Deep Space’, and ‘Young Astronomer’ for under 16’s.

Similarly the LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY exhibition can be found at the National Theatre. Again, entry is free and the images on display are divine.

MUSIC FANS

It is highly likely that you have never been to Ibiza. Chances are that you do not attach that name to music in the same way that us Brits do. But if you are a music fan, particularly a dance music fan, then this free exhibition could be for you. Located in the Mall near Charing Cross, this exhibition shows how the power of music can really inspire freedom of creative expression.

This is just a snapshot of what you could get up to this weekend. We look forward to seeing you at Kensington Palace and we hope you will share your experiences with us, whatever you end up doing.
