On Friday staff and students will be taking part in our annual fundraiser. This year, we are tackling the London Bridges Walk.

We are raising money for CANCER RESEARCH UK.

More than 1 in 3 people in the UK will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime.

The London Bridges Walk will start at Battersea Bridge, walking over 13 of London's iconic bridges, and ending at Tower Bridge. The route is around 11 miles long, will take around 5 hours to complete and will involve all of London's sightseeing opportunities.

We really hope a number of you will join us. The more, the merrier! Do check the weather forecast. You want to be wearing waterproofs if there is the threat of rain, and a hat if there is blazing sunshine. Please make sure you are wearing comfortable footwear. Blisters by the first bridge won't be particularly pleasant. You also need to bring water so that you stay hydrated. Be smart, and it will be a ton of fun.

If you cannot take part in the walk but still want to contribute in some way, then you can still donate.

This is for a fantastic cause, and we are excited to take on the challenge.
