We run two competitions throughout each semester, and there are PRIZES to be won! Yes, prizes!
The Photo Competition
There are four categories:
- Rural
- Urban
- Community
- Personal Highlights.
These categories are up for your own interpretation, so snap away throughout your time abroad. Submit your best photos to Natalie Crown, at crownn@arcadia.edu and by the end of the semester, Arcadia staff will pick the winners. There will be one winner for each category and each winner will receive a $50 Amazon voucher. Check out previous contest entries.
The One Second Everyday Competition
Everyday, film one second of your day, and you compile the clips to create a montage of what you have been up to. What better way to chronicle your study abroad experience? Download the 1 Second Everyday app to your phone and get started!
In order to qualify, submit a video that is at least 28 seconds long. The winner will receive a $50 Amazon voucher.

The Rules
We only have two rules for both of these competitions:
- No offensive material is allowed.
- Have fun with it! We cannot wait to see what you come up with.
Both competitions close at 5.30pm BST on 9th December. Don't worry, we will make sure to remind you about the deadline.
