We are very excited to welcome our newest member of the London Center Team, Kimberley Aparisio. We caught up with Kimberly after her first week to learn a little bit about her.

What are you looking forward to most about your new role?

I am most excited about increased involvement with students.  In my RLA role, I have been happy to assist students with settling into London life.  My new role will give me unique access to various other aspects of the study abroad experience for our students.

Tell us what you do away from Arcadia...

Yoga, travel and reading.  I have been practicing yoga for over 3 years, and I can't get enough of it.  I've traveled to 23 countries to date, and I am always in pursuit of a new adventure - which likely explains my enthusiasm for books.  I have a particular love of classic literature - Edith Wharton and Charles Dickens are among my favorite authors.

Name one song you enjoy listening to at the moment.

Made to Love by John Legend.  John Legend is a graduate of my Alma Mater, the University of Pennsylvania.  I met him at a student event when he was simply John Stephens -  so I have a soft spot for his music.

Finally, what is your advice to study abroad students in London?

Carpe diem.  Seize every.single.opportunity.  With gusto.

Look out for Kimberley at the Center in her new home, the Student Life Office. Also head to our Facebook page to see photos of Kimberly at VA at an 80's party.
