On Friday, 10 July Bloomberg's London office hosted a group of our London Internship students for a private tour of their facilities. Students with an interest in business and finance careers attended the event, which included sitting for the Bloomberg Aptitude Test.

The test, developed in partnership with financial institutions and university faculties around the world, helps students to identify strengths across a range of business and personal competencies, allowing them to gain insight into their suitability for careers in business and finance.

I found the Bloomberg tour and BAT test extremely interesting and helpful. The office building - especially the pantry and new discoveries with the Cannon location - is unlike anything I've ever seen! As a finance major, I appreciated setting aside time to test myself on previous financial ideas and learn what is expected of me in the future.

Following the test, the group were able to place their scores into the BAT Talent Search, a tool used by employers to identify candidates for entry-level roles in business.

The event was a great way for students to learn about one of the world's premier financial information services as well as for early career networking and resume building.
