It's impossible to explain, but everyone should get out and stay with a host family if presented the opportunity to do so. It is something that they will remember for many years to come!

Meeting locals can be difficult, especially when you are here for a short time over the summer. Taking part in Host UK will allow you to explore different parts of the UK and experience British hospitality (for very little cost!)

Host UK is a charity organization that provides international students with the opportunity to spend a weekend inside a British home. We always get great feedback from the students that take part, so much in fact that Arcadia will pay the application fee for you to take part, you just have to pay for your travel.

DUE TO THE LENGTH OF THE SUMMER TERM, WE WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU APPLY AS EARLY AS YOU CAN IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING PART. MAKE SURE YOU LIST ARCADIA LONDON STUDY CENTER AS YOUR INSTITUTION. YOU CAN APPLY ONLINE.

 If you would like to take part in HOST UK over the summer, all you have to do is sign up online and mention Arcadia University as your host institution (to make sure we cover that application fee for you!)
