Come to know and to enjoy the huge winter festivity of Barcelona! It will be from 7thuntil 9th of February and it also be on 12th of February, Wednesday.

It is a big celebration in our city where you can go deep into the Catalan roots through of the traditions and popular customs.

The main protagonists are the young members of different associations and organizations that prepare and organize with eagerness and creativity this event during the whole year.

Laia, the short name of Eulalia, is the patron saint of Barcelona, and she is represented as a giant as well for the festivity day in the city. Laia will pass through the narrow streets of Gothic dancing with her other peers giants, dragons and devils.

During Santa Eulàlia days festivity you could visit the exhibition in Palau de la Virreina where a wide selection of beasts will be exposed, in a scene inspired by the world of comics.

The Santa Eulàlia Human Tower Performance will mark the opening of new season in which this year a new human tower group will join the rest, “the Esquerdats” from Esquerra de l’Eixample.

The traditional dances, ring dances “Sardanas” will colorful our main squares of the city center and for the second year running, we could enjoy the Santa Eulàlia “stick dancing festival”.

A large list of activities, workshops, concerts and so on will fill the city, so I will recommend you have a look to the program and do not miss anything!
