It was an old cinema in Poblenou neighbourhood known as a “El Rellis” or “El Rellisquín” called in this way by the ice rink that had there as well.

Nowadays, since last October 2019, IDEAL is a new center of digital culture and art in Barcelona, in fact is the first center of the south of Europe dedicated to the production and exhibition of digital arts. With especial mention to digital arts immersion and unique center that combines the production of pieces of different format.

It has technological equipment exclusive in Spain that experiment through audiovisuals projections, augmented reality, virtual reality and holography, new creations of a relation between art and society.

It will become the future of the museums and the future of the cinemas, with 1000 square meters of a giant screen, projections in 360 degrees, and virtual reality glasses but first of all you should come during these days to see it by yourself because Ideal shows a brilliant impressionist artist exhibition.
