Yesterday we went on our Gràcia Tour and we ended up having a delicious ice-cream!

We went for a walk around one of the most popular neighborhoods with our Summer 2 students. As we walked, they could learn many things about Vila de Gràcia and see for themselves the bubbly atmosphere that surrounds this part of Barcelona.

We love to show them this peculiar neighborhood, as there are many aspects of Vila de Gràcia that they could never see downtown. The little and unique shops, the tastefully decorated restaurants, the numerous squares where people gather and spend their time socializing and relaxing from their busy routines… It’s something one has to see and experience first-hand! The district of Gràcia still seems an independent town from Barcelona as it was back in the 19th Century. One can easily notice how different it is from the city center!

After learning about some history, traditions and see some of the main squares in the neighborhood of Vila de Gràcia we went for our awaited ice-cream in one of this neighborhood’s well-known gelateries!
