Gazpacho: A traditional Spanish Summer dish.
If you have the chance to visit Spain on Summer sometime, you could appreciate our culture, nice weather, our beautiful landscapes, people, and traditional parties but, especially you could enjoy our food.
Today I want to show you one of the best and easiest invents ever we cook here in Spain, a good Gazpacho. I recommend you to take note because it will only take you few minutes to learn to prepare it and you will love it.
It is really easy to make and it is very fresh, so it fits very well with these warms days we are having during the hottest season.
In the next lines I will write you the recipe of this delicious dish, you can also refer to it as a tomato soup because the main ingredient is tomato.
Ingredients:
Peel the kilo of tomatoes and pour them in the whisk, do the same with the green pepper, the cucumber and garlic. Once you have all the ingredients into the whisk pour the olive oil, vinegar and a pinch of salt.
Once all the ingredients are together in the whisk then press on to mixt them to get homogeneous dough.
Try it first and decide if it needs a bit of salt, olive oil or vinegar, then put the Gazpacho in a jar and leave it in the fridge at least for 2 hours.
After 2 hours… ready to enjoy a fresh Gazpacho!
