Maker Faire is the greatest show where invention and creativity are the protagonists. This year’s edition present more than 600 exhibitors from around the world showcasing their inventions. It takes place in Rome on October 16-18.

Part science fair, part county fair, this is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, engineers, science clubs, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned. It's location in Rome for 2015 marks a fun opportunity for Arcadia students in Italy to view (or take part in ) innovative, creative and fascinating projects.

The event has a strong STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) emphasis. Among the projects displayed, you will find a birdhouse for drones (a space dedicated to the flight of these devices), a pavilion for music and experimentation with musical showcases, 3D printings workshop, laboratories and many interactive activities and surprise events!

Maker Faire is located at Universita’ La Sapienza in piazzale Aldo Moro 5, from the 16th to the 18th of October.
