Ballet under the stars!

During the summer, Teatro dell’opera di Roma, the opera house of Rome moves to the​ ruins of the Baths of Caracalla to present Rome’s open air Ballet and Opera. ​​And tonight the students will have a unique opportunity to attend the opening of the season with​ the ballet​ “Serata Nureyev”​ in this fascinating venue. The ballet ​is ​dedicated to the choreography of Rudolf Nureyev, one of the most iconic dancer of the 20th century.

​Featuring the principle dancers and soloists of corps de ballet of the opera house who will perform three extracts of the famous ballets: La Bayadere, Swan Lake and Raymonda. The evening’s entertainment will end with Act III of Raymonda, by Choreprgraphers Patricia Ruanne and Frédéric Jahn.

The evening promises to be unforgettable!
