Queenscliff Orientation

Melbourne and North Queensland – couldn’t be further apart but the students made friends with the long distance neighbours at the orientation at Queenscliff. We had fun and games with the Aussie scavenger hunt challenge and many laughs and hugs were had by locals and students alike. My favourite was the hug and Aussie Challenge – spreading the Arcadia love across the globe!

We also headed over to Sorrento on a boat trip and saw migratory birds, met the local male seals and watch the dolphins frolick in the bay. Sunsets over the water never disappoint especially when Melbourne blesses us with her fine weather.

All too soon it’s over and the James Cook University students headed off to Townsville for Togaparties and beach time while Melbourne students moved into the centre at St Kilda for a very different kind of beach. Good luck for the semester Arcadia students! Live in the moment and enjoy every second – time seems to move faster when you’re having way too much fun!
