Arcadia Photo contest winner 2020

We are very pleased to announce that Villanova Student Alexis Norcross is the winner of the photo contest we launched last week, with the photo taken on Mount Vesuvius, an active volcano that rises above the bay of Naples, in southern Italy.

Here's what Alexis says about this photo that has received the largest number of likes:

"This photo depicts some of my closest friends from the Arcadia program contrasted against the beautiful backdrop of Mount Vesuvius' summit. After reckless, winding shuttle ride up the mountain, we were able to walk to the peak - where the air was exceptionally crisp and the view was breathtaking, literally. Traveling to Vesuvius and Pompeii for the weekend was one of my favorite Arcadia memories since genuine friendships were solidified and the location was full of life, culture, and history. I miss it so much!"
