Dr. Paola Cascinelli is serving as Interim Resident Director Arcadia Italy Programs with The College of Global Studies, Arcadia University. In addition to her teaching Management and International Business for Arcadia in Rome, Paola directly manages the academic curriculum, the internship opportunities and the custom-program design and implementation, encouraging experiential learning at every turn. Paola brings with her a vast theoretical knowledge and professional experience in organizational behavior. She holds a SESS Euro Ph.D. in Socio-Economic and Statistical studies at La Sapienza University of Rome. Her emphasis is on the interaction between perceptions and economic life, with a particular focus on the Mediterranean Area. She was an exchange student and researcher at Boston University, Universite' Libre de Brussels (ULB), Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB). In previous years Dr. Cascinelli was a consultant in program developing, leadership, communication and team building in small and medium enterprises and public administrations. She has served as a consultant to many organizations such as Lazio Regional Minister of Economy, Think Thanks srl, Municipality of Naples, the Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises National Confederation (CNA), European Parliament in Brussels, University of Naples, research centers, and others. Her last publication was about the perceptions of Italian Mezzogiorno and its economic lateness.
