Arcadia has a strong history in New Zealand, delivering study abroad programs since 2001. Today, with direct enroll programs in five New Zealand universities, and a five-week summer field study program in New Zealand and Australia, we cater to a wide range of academic and personal student goals.
We encourage our students to take courses they cannot take at home, especially courses with a field study component. We also offer our own Arcadia activities throughout the semester, including volunteer work and three day excursions in the outdoors. Students are housed where possible with Kiwi students and are soon ordering ‘fush n chups’ at the local takeaway.
You will be supported by a trained Arcadia staff who will show you aspects of this surprising country on excursions and through a variety of activities. You will be challenged to think differently about yourself and your studies, and to fully engage with the land’s spectacular environment and intriguing people.
Study abroad in New Zealand with Arcadia will expose you to this small, young, land of islands at the bottom of the south Pacific Ocean, and introduce you to a way of life that has been shaped by the environmental strengths of the vast New Zealand landscape.
