Experience state of the art facilities at New Zealand's second-oldest university

Divided among five colleges, a school of law, and a school of business and economics, the University of Canterbury is well-known for its engineering program, and it is only one of two universities in New Zealand to offer this major. In 2014, the University of Canterbury was named as one of the top universities worth traveling abroad for.  It is also the only university to offer speech and language therapy, and astronomy, and excels in biological sciences, chemistry, engineering, exercise science, anthropology, religious studies, philosophy, law and Antarctic studies. Additionally, Canterbury’s School of Business and Economics has recently earned AACSB business accreditation.

There is something magical about New Zealand - the people, the landscape, the culture, the vibe - that permeates you. You come to the country as an awe-inspired college student, and leave a part of you behind. ”
