As a student on this program, you're guaranteed housing in one of the halls of residence - known as colleges - at the University of York. Rooms are on the campus so you can walk to class within 25 minutes.

You will be integrated with York undergraduate and international students giving you the chance to integrate into campus life. Room specifications vary between houses but generally comprise:

  • Majority of single occupancy rooms
  • 8-10 bedroom flats
  • A mix of shared bathrooms and en-suite (private bathrooms) rooms
  • Single bed, wardrobe, bookshelves, desk and chair
  • Access to campus laundrettes

You have the choice of a self-catered (no meal plan) or catered (with a meal plan) housing. Students in self-catered housing will have access to a shared kitchen. Meal plans include breakfast and an evening meal (Monday to Friday, during term time). Catered housing will incur an additional fee.
