As a study abroad student at Queen Mary, you will live on the Mile End Campus, where all your classes will be taught. The campus is located in East London, where you will have the lively East End on your doorstep. The closest tube stations to the campus and housing are Mile End and Stepney Green, both located in Zone 2, making the rest of Central London easily accessible in 20 minutes via public transportation.

Whilst at Queen Mary you will be living in an on-campus apartment with local, first year undergraduate students and other study abroad students, giving you the chance to meet people from around the world.  All rooms in the apartment are single bedrooms. Bathrooms are either shared between flatmates or ensuite (in your private bedroom).

All Queen Mary’s residences are self-catered, meaning there is no meal plan and you will cook your own meals. There are numerous catering outlets on campus and optional meal plans are available for an extra fee.

Please review housing fees under Fees & Deadlines. Under “More Info”, scroll down to Potential Additional Fees to view supplemental housing fees.
