What awaits you?
Australia is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, with sophisticated cities that are consistently ranked among the top 10 most livable places on earth. Australia is a multicultural nation, uniting people from many different cultural, religious and language backgrounds. Our Indigenous people are the oldest living culture in the world, dating back at least some 60,000 years.
It is a nation of sports-lovers, but also has a deep-rooted artistic edge and a wealth of academic opportunity in its many high-ranked schools. Due to its location in the South Pacific, Australia has very close ties to Asia, which greatly influences the country's history, economics, food and culture. In addition to this, Australia also offers its visitors many natural wonders, including the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, striking red deserts, ski fields, alpine mountains, bushland, tropical islands and some of the most pristine beaches in the world.
Thank you, Australia, for what has been the most eye-opening four months of my life. I will never forget the experiences, the memories, and most of all, the growth that I’ve made here. I’ll never forget the people I’ve met and the amazing friends I’ve made here. The Gold Coast and Australia has stolen a piece of my heart, and honestly, I don’t think I want it back; Australia’s given me so much more than I could have ever imagined beyond my wildest dreams. ”
