Spring 2026 is shaping up to be unforgettable! Whether you’re based in Brisbane, Gold Coast, or Townsville, there’s an incredible lineup of activities designed to help you explore Australia, connect with new friends, and make the most of your semester abroad.

WELCOME MEAL

Kick off the semester with a delicious group dinner hosted by Arcadia staff. It’s the perfect chance to meet other students, share your first impressions of Australia, and get a taste of local cuisine.

COFFEE CATCH UP 

Grab a coffee on campus with Arcadia staff and your fellow students. These relaxed catch-ups are great for checking in, swapping travel tips, and enjoying a break between classes. 

Weekend Adventure to Noosa (QUT,UQ,BOND, GRIFFITH, JCU)

Noosa Heads - one of Queensland’s most stunning coastal destinations - awaits! Spend a weekend exploring golden beaches, lush national park trails, and vibrant local markets. A weekend of sunshine, salt water, and good company -  this weekend has it all.

Here’s what’s in store:

• Pristine Beaches & Water Activities – Swim or paddleboard in Noosa’s crystal-clear waters.
• Noosa National Park – Walk scenic coastal tracks and keep an eye out for koalas, dolphins, and sea turtles.
• Hastings Street – Enjoy boutique shopping, artisan coffee, and oceanfront dining.
• The Noosa River & Everglades – Cruise or kayak through one of the world’s only two everglade systems.
• Markets & Local Culture – Visit the famous Eumundi Markets for local crafts, food, and live music.

DAY TRIP TO THE AUSTRALIA  ZOO (Approx. $90 USD) (QUT,UQ,BOND, GRIFFITH)

Get ready for a day of adventure at the world-famous Australia Zoo, home to over 1,200 animals! Explore the African Savannah, South-East Asia exhibits, and Bindi’s Island - plus all your Aussie favourites like kangaroos, koalas, and crocodiles.

Includes entry, transport, and plenty of photo ops with some of Australia’s most iconic wildlife.

ADVENTURE DAY TRIP (Approx. $90 USD) (JCU)

Join us for a tropical day trip exploring some of the best swimming holes and waterfalls around Townsville. We’ll hike through lush landscapes, cool off with optional swims, and enjoy local tropical fruit ice cream (a must-try!).

Includes transport, food, and all activities.

FAREWELL DINNER

Celebrate the end of an unforgettable semester with a free group dinner. It’s the perfect way to reflect on your time abroad, share travel stories, and see who’s officially crowned “most time spent at the beach” or “most Tim Tams eaten”.
