You'll choose one Cornerstone Course from the choices below:

  • Brand Barcelona: Marketing the City in a Globalized World - Explore Barcelona as a geographical, economic, and symbolic environment and critically examine the success of the ‘Barcelona Model’ of urban redevelopment, paying particular attention to the way marketing has extended its sphere of influence from the selling of commodities to the branding of places.

  • Work in Thought and Action (Spring Semester Only) - Complete a one-month externship placement at the conclusion of your semester to gain experience in a Barcelona workplace, increase intercultural competence and contribute to a globalized workforce. Externship Seminars held throughout the semester, and prior to the placement, will help prepare you to make the most of your placement in the workplace.
