As a student at the University of Sydney, you will have the option of applying to live on campus in a Residential College or you can opt for housing in student apartments. As you read the information below, please be sure to review the general housing information for Australia.
The residential colleges at the university are well-established and steeped in tradition. As a member of a residential college, you will be part of a community of residents. This involves participating in organized social functions, eating together in the college dining hall and taking part in other activities. Most colleges have teams that compete against the other halls in a range of sports. Living in a college is an excellent way to meet local students and to make the most of your time in Australia, but it is not for everyone. The application process for residential colleges is very competitive.
