At the University of Melbourne, you have the option of applying to live on campus in a fully catered Residential College, or opting for off-campus self-catered housing with Melbourne University Village. As you read the information below, please be sure to review the general information for housing in Australia.

Residential Colleges

The University of Melbourne has a well-established and thriving residential college scene, allowing you to live and engage directly with domestic students. Colleges are involved in organizing sporting, social, and cultural events. Students eat together in the college dining hall, and take part in a variety of communal activities. Living in a college is an excellent way to meet local students and to make the most of your time in Australia, but it is not for everyone!
