Study art on the grounds of a 16th century castle in rural Ireland

If you are a budding artist with a yearning for inspirational, creative and supportive collaboration to enhance your work, look no further than the highly respected Burren College of Art in the West of Ireland. With fewer than 55 students – all practicing artists – study abroad at Burren College of Art offers an intensive and highly individualized experience. Liberation from rigid programming and opportunity for intense focus has helped the many artists who have studied at the college to find their artistic voice.

Course offerings include a variety of studio art classes such as painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture amid the magnificent landscape of the Burren, an area that has long been an inspiration for artists of all genres because of its ethereal and intriguing beauty.

If you think it's a long time to be gone, realize that by the end you'll wish it was longer. ”
