As a student on the Arcadia program at Bangor University, you will be placed in self-catered halls at the Ffriddoedd site, so you are responsible for your own meals. Please also read the main Wales housing information.
- Fully equipped kitchens, with a refrigerator, oven, stove and cabinets for food storage, are available on each floor. You are expected to provide your own cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery. These items can be purchased either prior to your arrival (details with be sent to you regarding a pre-order scheme) or inexpensively in Bangor.
- You will be offered a single en-suite bedroom with a private bathroom, work/study space, bed, wardrobe, and chair with full and free wifi access.
- Linens are not provided, though you can pre-order or purchase a very reasonably priced bedding pack upon arrival. Blankets and pillows are provided to all students. You will need to bring your own towels or purchase them low cost at local stores. Launderettes are right on campus.
As an Arcadia student, you will be guaranteed accommodation. Once you have signed a contract for your accommodation you will be expected to stay for the duration of your program.
