Bangor University is located between the snow-capped mountains of Snowdonia and the rugged, beautiful coastline of North Wales. Its quality of education, excellent teaching, and thriving student community make for a vibrant semester in one of the world’s most scenic places. Enroll in classes across Bangor's variety of academic departments, including ones that host world-class research. Study here and experience a part of the world steeped with Arthurian myths and legends—Wales offers lots to explore, with thousand-year-old castles and medieval cities such as Chester and York within easy traveling distance. Big cities like London, Liverpool, Manchester, and Dublin are just a few hours away. If you are a student looking for an immersive experience, enjoy independence, and are attracted to the lifestyle of an affordable smaller city with a mix of friendly, rural and urban living, then Bangor could be just what you’re looking for.

I hope that more students take advantage of all that Wales has to offer; it's such a different environment and experience. ”
