Reaching across the River Shannon, the University of Limerick’s campus is a sprawling scene of academic buildings, athletic fields, open spaces, and student villages. Students are able to become involved in all of the aspects of campus life without having to wander far from home.
Arcadia University houses all UL students on-campus in university housing, with a preference for Cappavilla Village. You will live in apartment-style flats which accommodate up to six students, with each student having an individual bedroom and bathroom. Student flats may be co-ed.
UL housing is self-catered. You can do your daily shopping at markets a short commute by bus from campus, although a small shop at Cappavilla is available for any little items you might need to purchase. Each flat has a fully equipped kitchen, and shared living area, with television and modern amenities. Self-service laundry facilities are available within the complex. Telephones are located in every flat for house to house calls only; calling cards are required for local and long distance calls. Internet access to the UL network is available to you from your bedroom.
Cappavilla Village is located on the north end of the University of Limerick campus, across the River Shannon. A state-of-the-art pedestrian bridge connects it to the center of campus. The bus stop to the Limerick city center is a short distance away. Please also see the general Ireland housing information.
