Reaching across the River Shannon, the University of Limerick (UL) campus is a sprawling panorama of academic buildings, athletic fields, open spaces, and student villages. The campus is a short bus journey from the iconic King John's Castle and within an hour's drive of the stunning Cliffs of Moher.

You will be housed on-campus in University Housing, with a preference for Cappavilla Village. Cappavilla Village is located on the north end of the University of Limerick campus, across the River Shannon. A state-of-the-art pedestrian bridge (The Living Bridge) connects it to the center of campus. You will live in a co-ed apartment with up to six students, and you will have an individual bedroom with en-suite facilities, including a shared living area, and kitchen.

More About UL

Cappavilla Village
Overview

UL housing is self-catered, but you can do your shopping at the local markets a short commute by Bus from campus. There is also a small convenience store on campus for any day-to-day things that you  may need.

Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen along with a shared living area with television and modern amenities. There is a laundry facility on-site, where you can wash/dry your clothes for a minimal fee. Telephones are located in every flat for house-to-house calls only.

You will be provided with your own duvet (comforter) and bed linen upon your arrival. You are responsible for bringing your towels (we recommend both a hand towel and bath towel), but you can purchase additional linen and towels for a reasonable price in the local shopping center.
